River raft trip at Lappean Suvanto in Tornionjoki river

Take a seat on the raft for a gentle sail along the river, let the summer breeze pamper you and take a moment to experience the breathtakingly beautiful and tranquil scenery of Lappean Suvanto.

The river rafting trip starts from the Lappean Loma jetty and calmly sails through the Lappean Suvanto area. Just below the Lappeankoski rapid water section of the river, the raft is anchored in the river and the guide lights a campfire for brewing some sooty pot coffee. If you have booked a trip with dinner, the guide will prepare a tasty salmon soup on the fire, along with sooty pot coffee. While waiting for the food you can try your luck at fishing. Make sure you reserve around one and a half hours for a trip with a coffee break, and around two hours for a trip with lunch. Before you leave, dress into appropriate clothing for the weather, and we will provide you with all the required safety equipment for the trip before you depart. If it happens to rain, we will provide you with rain wear, and we will shelter the raft with tent textile to keep us dry. The price is exclusive of possible fishing permits. The raft trip is implemented only if water conditions allow.
